I applied for NYU Poly and I have been waitlisted several weeks ago. Two weeks ago I had an awesome interview with my NYU Poly admissions counselor (he said "I would have good chances of getting in", although that's probably what they say to everyone g).

Is there any date published when final decisions for waitlisted students are announced?

I have got an offer from NYU POLY for MS in CS Program. Please let me know about the program quality and research work? What are job prospect after grad from there?

grad school is wonderful and popular! You guys will be getting a NYU degree and making the highest salary out of everyone else that graduates from NYU. It’s one of the toughest engineering schools in the country and it’s comparable to bootcamp for engineers so be warned for the workload.

@lilmelonred- i am bit concerned about living expense. Will I be able to cover living expense with part time job. pleas do share if you have any info.

on campus housing runs around 10 grand a year. That is pretty cheap for NYC and I would imagine working 20 hours a week or so at Mcdonalds or comparable and you will be fine. If you make minimum wage then you will make around 4 grand a semester then you will need to workover the summer or get an internship.

did anyone of you guys get any type of decision letter yet because i emailed my interviewer and she said that most waitlisted students wont hear from nyu-poly until May 1st. I dont know if its a bad sign for me because someone previously posted that someone they knew will be getting their decision letter by april 12th.
