Hi, I am finally down to two colleges now. I am accepted to Manhattan College, Syracuse University, RIT, NYU-Poly, and the CUNY's. Due to the proximity of other colleges, I decided to take only NYU-Poly and CCNY into consideration. By the way, my major is Chemical Engineering.

NYU-Poly offered me its Alumni Promise Scholarship which was $16k per year. However, I just submitted my FAFSA a week ago and I hope I get NYU-Poly's Need-Based Grant which can be up to $18k a year. Along with my Pell Grant which is $5,550, I believe I can get a full ride to NYU-Poly ONLY if I do get that grant. However, a few people told me that the classes/courses in NYU-Poly are exceptionally difficult. I am not afraid of the difficulty of the courses but I am afraid that I might not be able to have a social life due to intense studying. If it's possible, can people from NYU-Poly help me clarify how social life and difficulty of the courses in NYU-Poly are?

CCNY(Grove School of Engineering) is a very good program for engineering. It is about 1.5 hours away from my house, similar to that of NYU-Poly. In addition to that, I also get money back from my financial aid, about $2k-$3k per semester. So that's pretty good since I don't have to pay anything out of my pocket whatsoever.

I just don't know which one to go to. Please assist me! Thank you very much guys!
