Question for current NYU students, specifically those that are living on campus. I am in the process of choosing a dorm right now for when I start freshman year next fall. It happens that I am a drummer, and have a lot of gear/instruments that I will certainly not be able to store in a studio in which I will be rooming with 2-3 people. I need a lot of this gear for different gigs that I do around the NYC area. I know this is sort of a weird question but does anyone know if there is like a storage area on campus or in one of the dorms where I can safely put instrument bags? My only other option is to rent out a music studio off campus to leave my stuff and I’m not too keen to pay even more $ than the NYU room and board. Any info that you guys can give me would be super helpful!
