NYU RD Notification Date

After May 1 most likely… I have heard the phrase by June 1 throughout CC.

yolie3000 Seriously? After May 1? I have been waitlisted, but I’ve been accepted to other universities already, and they require me to decide until May 1 (whether I’d like to make a deposit there, etc.).

Isn’t this a hilarious conflict?

Poly is different^^. They have rolling admissions so you might be notified before may 1

WTH? you need to notify colleges by May 1. do they expect us to love their college so much that we hinge everything on it? -___-

I am fairly sure the deposits are refundable if you find out you are off a wait,it’s and opt to go there instead. The housing deposits, however, are usually not refundable the best and safest thing is to check the website of the schools involved and/ or call the admissions and housing offices to verify their policy. You absolutely MUST deposit somewhere by May 1st to the guarantee you will have a chosen college to attend, even if you haven’t heard from your waitlist school. Check to find out whether your deposit can be refunded if necessary. Don’t miss this deadline.

Where do I find the total official costs of attendance?

This site only provides a bulk of various numbers, where the highest ones are about 20k, which still seems too cheap to be true:
[Tuition and Fees | NYU-Poly](<a href=“Home | NYU Tandon School of Engineering”>Home | NYU Tandon School of Engineering)

Hence the question, what will it roughly cost for a CS student?

according to my FA, tuition and fees add up to around 41K+ for the whole year.
