NYU RD Notification Date

Last year the emails came out on March 25…

Considering that 2012 is a leap year, I hope NYU would think about releasing their decisions today as opposed to tomorrow!

does anyone know if theyre coming out today? gonna get rejected anyway lolz

My finaid Albert thing hasn’t even changed
Hope that’s not a bad sign! I’m soooo nervous

Mine hasn’t changed either :(. I got into BU this morning, though!

i didnt apply for finaid… what has changed for other people but not for you?

“The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is processing your application”

was this always there? or did they re-word it?

Some people see “Financial information not found” while others have seen things about their award information for 2012-2013 not available or something of that like. I’m not sure of the other messages, but mine is still just saying “No financial information found” ughhh

so if i didnt apply for financial aid nothing should happen to me right? :P

I suppose not then, at least its one less thing to make you nervous!

I have a connection at NYU, my son has applied, I was told the emails aren’t going out until the 29th or 30th.

i doubtwe’ll get them today and next week actually…

thanks, fnpmom. that sounds pretty definite.

I’m wondering about the channels as a sign of admission? Does anyone know which are activated for everyone and which are activated upon admission?

We’ve been over this many times… There is absolutely NO correlation between different “channels” and admissions

We’ve been over this many times… There is absolutely NO correlation between different “channels” and admissions.

Sorry if this is a repetitive type question, but any definitive answer on whether seeing dates on your financial aid page or no information available is a tell tale sign of acceptance or rejection? I’m afraid this may be like a few years back where people who were accepted received a travel plans email before an official letter

^ I don’t think the financial aid information is a sign of acceptance, or that was what I was told in a different NYU thread…

An hour or so before D got her admissions email accepting her ED, there were 2 changes that came up on Albert. First about an hour or so before the email, she was able to view her actual financial aid statement. Next about 5 minutes before the email her opening page on Albert changed and an accept/decine admissions statement came up with a button to push which was addressed to her.

Good luck to you all,

Just wondering, nothing too big of a deal, but does it say this on everyone’s To-Do List on Albert Login?

Below is a list of your current To Do items. Items in a Requested status need to be submitted to the Office of Financial Aid in a timely manner. Items in a Received status have been received by the Office of Financial Aid and are pending review.

Please note that if you do not wish to borrow the federal loans that may have been offered to you, you can decline them by going to the ‘Accept / Decline Financial Aid’ link in Albert.
