NYU Shanghai study away student - police registration??

Hi, my son is going to NYU Shanghai for a semester. (He is currently at NYU NY campus)

On the email from NYU Shanghai, it was said that any international student starting at NYU Shanghai must go to the local police station for registration within 24 hours since entry into China but there was no detailed info on where to go and with what documents. Any international student can help us?

You or your son should probably contact the Office of Global Services or NYU Shanghai and ask for more information on what to do.

Thank you so much! I contacted the office and got the info.

For anyone interested, they said that the hotel or service apartment staff will take care of it when check-in, and then NYU Shanghai office will do it again on students’ behalf later.
