hi guys, im a spanish student @ osu. im interested in the nyu madrid masters program, but dont know alot about it. can someone help me. what are average gpa / gre scores? what does it take to get in? thanks! also, this sounds ignorant, but how bout spanish masters programs in general? i ultimately would wanna get a phd to teach...thanks!

If you’re already a native Spanish speaker, you should try to aim for the PhD as it can be quite expensive to pay for a master’s, especially with NYU.

Heck, it’s probably even more cost effective to spend a year or two in a Spanish-speaking country teaching English or doing something all will improving your espanol.

1) Im not a native speaker. Im a Spanish major at Ohio State.

2)Money isnt a big issue. I want to be a professor, and attend prestigious schools. Ill pay the price. The Nyu program is a 1-yr masters taught in Spain.

I mainly am looking for what stats in general ill need to obtain a phd. what are the average scores / gpa for good masters programs, and phd programs?

That will probably be hard to come by at most schools since they don’t post that info. Your best bet is to go to different forums to check out some stats from applicants.
