coolkid this is hilarious. this post was about my chances and then u put your chances nested into my thread. LOL. create your own post! hahaha.

LOL... sorry man....!!! ...thanks anyway..lol!!!

not that i'm specifically trying to pick on gandhicurrypot, i don't think anyone can really evaulate the value of a school just by comparing the applicants' stats. No one really knows the exact criterion of the admissions committee and therefore it signifies that regardless of how bad the gpa and sat scores are, he or she still has a chance to get in to any of the prestigious schools. One of the seniors last year got into cornell w/ a 1080, and i don't think he even took the satIIs. Whereas, a student with a much better stats went to Rutgers. I don't think people will consider Cornell to be inferior to Rutgers just by comparing those two students. Likewise, I don't think Wharton is superior over Stern just because a student who got rejected to Wharton got into Stern with a full scholarship.

"Stern is nowhere near as good as Wharton"
I also do think that Wharton is slightly better than Stern in some aspects.
However, I strongly disagree and know for sure that the statement addressed above is false. Students in both school receive almost the same amount of job offers from companies that are on the same level. And when it comes to choosing a job that one will make a total commitment, graduate school is what really matters especially when one is majoring in a field relevant to business.
