<p>Yah, so I got my winter term grades back today, and let's just say that I sat in the bathroom for 20 minutes and cried my eyes out. "My life is ruined! I don't even have a 3.5! I'm not getting into NYU! I'm not getting into college! I'm going to end up at McDonalds forever! blahblahblah..." </p>
<p>GPA: 3.52/3.84 CUM
-First one is the one that my school publishes...it's .3 for honors/AP
-Weird trend...fall term GPA is always lower than that of the other terms...I guess I take awhile to adjust to different styles?
-Second one is based on the most common scale...no difference for +s of -s, 1 point for honors/AP
-2 C's in math, 1 C+ in physics...otherwise, all in the B/A range...will this kill me? (The 2 C's in math was in Precal honors...the teacher is terrible...I'm dropping to precal this trimester...I'll write an explanation of those if necessary)
-Does it look bad if you get a C in precal honors, then drop to precal and get an A?</p>
<p>Fairly challenging class load-7 honors/AP so far, another 4-5 probably next year</p>
<p>SAT: ~2160 (800M, 760W, ~630CR)</p>
<p>SATII: 630-bio/E, ~800 USH, ~760 Math II/French
-Yes, I know these scores don't say the same thing my GPA does, but I'm really a smart person, and I work well under pressure. I don't work well when I have forever to do something: I do much better when I'm under a lot of stress-like standardized testing. I hope I could convey that through these scores(are they enough to do the function I want them to do?)...although the bio one is terrible. I hate science.</p>
<p>PSAT: 216/99%ile in CA...I haven't heard from NMSC yet, so I'm assuming I didn't get commended :(</p>
<p>I plan to apply ED by the way...</p>
<p>Thanx.</p>
