NYU Stern Curve: Is it that bad?

I have been hearing about notorious "Stern Curve," which makes it ridiculously difficult for the undergraduate students to maintain a high GPA.

I was told that in some classes that are easy, where a lot of students end up getting 90s+, a 1 point difference can make a huge difference in what grade they end up with.

Becuase of the rigid curve, only selected groups receive grade A, whereas CAS students often get inflated GPAs.

Is this going to work as a serious disadvantage when I apply to MBA later on? (Business schools will definitely yield lower GPA than regular CAS or other schools) Do the graduate schools put this into consideration?

Also.. is the "Stern Curve" as bad as it sounds? Are there any Sternies here who can tell me about this?

I'd greatly appreciate your comments.

Thanks.

I don't go to NYU, but I seriously doubt it's thaaaaat bad. I mean lots of schools have harsh curves, but i'm sure anyone who tries hard and doesn't let it get to their head will do just fine. It's manageable.
