NYU stern Early Decision 2015 chance

Hey guys! I am applying for NYU stern ED and I wish to know of my chances and have many questions to ask and also, wish to learn on how can I bolster up my chances.

International student (Singapore)
Race: Asian

GPA:
3.51/4.0
I went towards the route of a polytechnic instead of junior college. (British educational system)
Thus, I do not have A-levels and my GPA isn't really recognized.
However I figured that I should still send my GPA.

Relevant coursework in school: Economics (Micro/Macro), Investments, Wealth Management, Treasury, Risk Management and Corporate Finance. These are some of the coursework that I took up in polytechnic.

(Question#1 - Would the relevant coursework bolster up the attractiveness of my application?)

Standardized Tests:
1460/2160 - 780 Maths. 680 Reading. 650 Writing
Hoping to retake for better scores or for superscore

(Question#2 - Would a higher superscore improve my chances?)
(Question#3 - Would taking SAT 2 for Maths 1 and 2 increase my chances by a lot?)

AP Microeconomics - 5
AP Macroeconomics - 5

Work experiences:
22 weeks(minimum) of experience working in Citigroup - GTS, Hedge Fund TA
22 months of military service - Possibly of sergeant or staff sergeant rank

Extracurricular:
Hold two key position in my school's dance team
Got in at 2nd place in the National Citigroup's Foreign Exchange Challenge.(A S&T competition)

Others:
Not planning on taking any financial aid, not that i can anyway.
Expects my recommendation letter to be rather outstanding, however this cannot be confirmed.
The essay..hmmm..why not lets just put it at above average.

bump. someone reply :)

Decent chance due to your GPA mainly and SAT could be slightly higher but I think your ECs are good and ED will definitely help. I know someone at Stern also from Singapore and did military service.

thanks!! But would you mind telling me in which area of my SAT scores are lacking?

reading writing could be bumped up a little, but looking again, your SAT scores should be fine. i was just thinking that it could help more since your GPA is a little lower. as for the SAT 2s, definitely submit them if they’re good.

Alright thanks, will do! Thanks for the help :)

I will try my best to bump up my M to 800 and CR to 700  Wr on the other hand, could be rather hard…but i will try my best!

Also I would like to ask, would ED enhance my odds by a lot? And if so, by how much?

Also…if i failed the admission on the 2013 ED submission, may I apply for RD or ED on 2014?

Also…(Sorry for all the questions!), if i got accepted on the 2013 ED, can i apply for a gap year and attend the 2015 semester.

Bump! refer to qn about!

You can do a gap year once you are admitted.

I suggest everyone who’s applying to Stern raise their SAT writing score to 740 or higher because then you get to skip Writing the Essay, the most ridiculous hipster class that has ever been designed in the history of higher education.
