uhh what else is there; - My brother and I were working on a website this summer and we still have a lot of work left to go before it can be finally launched. We are looking to create a website where people can watch videos and upload their own videos, much like youtube.

So chance me on that for stern =)

and I also have a question about financial aid in stern. How much would I be expected to pay if I have a low family income <$30k but high-ish assets: $250kish - my parents have been saving up to buy a house for a long time but apparently all these savings are going to disappear when college starts =[

Are you a US citizen? If so then you will most likely receive a large amount of aid if NYU meets 100% of financial aid. If they do not meet 100% of aid then do not apply
Early

I am a US Citizen and live in NY.

As far as FA goes, with 250K assets and a 30K salary, you’ll be required to report the assets for NYU since it uses CSS profile. Just the assets are 14K in EFC per year (5.6% assuming it is your parents). In that case, you’ll get an EFC of about 15-20K, meaning you will probably only have to pay that much out of pocket per year. NYU has badish FA, and usually a lot of loan based aid too.
