<p>Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum.</p>
<p>I recently Applied to the Stern Business School at NYU as my early decision school. I'm really on edge though because i have no idea about my chances of getting in, any input on this matter would be greatly appreciated</p>
<p>Here are my stats</p>
<p>Ethnicity: Asian Indian (on all standardized tests, i put in "Asian/pacific islander" but on the NYU app, there was a specific option for Asian Indian)
Nationality: Indian Citizen, permanent resident of US
Public School in Fairfax County (Northern Virginia. from what i've heard, fairfax county is kind of a big deal.)
GPA:
3.42 weighted
3.37 unweighted</p>
<p>SAT Scores:
690 writing
690 reading
690 math
88 percentile methinks</p>
<p>SAT II scores:
Math 1: 640
Math II: 680
around 65 percentile methinks</p>
<p>APs:
Psychology: 5
Environmental Science: 4
Bio: Exam not yet taken
Statistics: Exam not yet taken
US Government: Exam not yet taken</p>
<p>4 years of spanish
bilingual (fluent in hindi and english - this was indicated on my application)
Honors Biology, Honors Chemistry, and Honors Physics</p>
<p>Extracurriculars:
Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout Rank, and senior patrol leader)
1st stand cellist in my High School orchestra
President of Philosophy Club
vice-president of math tutoring club
Regular volunteer work at Senior center (roughly 5 hrs/week) since 04/2005
Host at Chili's restaurant since 06/2005</p>
<p>And I dont know if this matters, but i showed my essays/personal statements to a few english teachers/guidance counselors, and they all said that they were absolutely astounding.</p>
<p>I think thats about all, again, any help would be greatly appreciated!</p>
