NYU Stern Public Health Nonprofit Aspect

I’ve noticed that a lot/most of the people who post here for Chance Me NYU Stern’s have finance background. I assume that NYU Stern is looking for diversity and that they don’t want just finance people there.

Considering that it’s well known for finance and most applicants are involved in finance internships and jobs, how does an applicant who stressed social entrepreneurship and nonprofits stand compared to the rest of the crowd? Does that play into the applicant’s favor? Or do they not care because they’re not really into public health nonprofits (what I’m talking about specifically)?
