I'm a student of Boston College Carroll School of Management(CSOM) and
recently got accepted at NYU stern as an international transfer student.

Considering the various rankings provided by USnews, Stern is definitely highly ranked compared to BC CSOM, and also NYU is ranked slightly higher than BC.

However, I've been recently told by some people currently working at global companies that the academic reputation of BC is usually considerd better compared to NYU in general.

Obviously no one can be sure about this kind of matter, but to find a job at global IBs or consulting firms located at NYC or other places (such as Hong kong, Shanghai, Korea-My home country), which school will provide me with higher possibility of getting a job at those type of companies?

I do not really care about the location of school, campus, living expense and tuition(they're almost the same). please give me an advice focused mostly on future career prospects of two schools.

NYU Stern...no question about that at all. Stern is one of the major finance strongholds in the US, competitive w/ just about any school. Going to Stern will give you a huge one-up in getting a job in NYC as well.

If you are fairly sure abt your interests in finance, I believe there is no comparison.

It's not even close. You might have an argument for NYU CAS vs. BC, but BC isn't in the same league as Stern. I wouldn't even think twice about this...also, any "city" advantage that BC has over better schools is totally negated here.

Seriously, I can't emphasize the point enough that it would be a MISTAKE to go to BC. This isn't a matter of personal preference--it's downright black and white.
