I got accepted to the school of engineering with a scholarship, and I really want to go. I’ve been having a hard time finding information about NYU Tandon online, and I live waaay too far from New York to go to the information session at Weekend on the Square
Can anyone tell me about the housing situation? Othmer or Clark? What happens after freshman year?
Is the Tandon scholarship renewable every year? By how much does tuition change from year to year?
How difficult is it to pursue the five year Master’s degree? Or even graduate with a B.S. in four? (major: IDM, Integrated Digital Media)
Are internships/ work study easy to come by?
If anyone has any answers, I would be super grateful.
You are guaranteed housing all 4 years as long as you do not leave to move into an apartment and then try to come back. You must get your housing deposit in by the due dates the school sets up each year. You will not be able to choose a roommate freshman year but you will be able to as an upperclassman and pick the dorm you would like to move in.
You must maintain a certain gpa in order to keep your scholarship and as long as their isn’t a drastic increase in finances. The COA that’s listed in your financial aid package is inflated. It will not be that much.
According to the estimates given it hasn’t increased significantly at all.
I can’t speak on the 5 year degree.
