NYU Tandon School of Engineering

Hello,
I am currently a freshman in City College of New York and am a Computer Engineering major. I am also part of the Macaulay Honors Program at CCNY. Recently, I realized that the professors at City aren’t what I was expecting so I am thinking about transferring to NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I just want to know if that would be a good decision and worth me paying at least $3-4k per semester. And also if the professors at NYU don’t expect students to have prior knowledge on engineering before they walk into the class the first day.

Tuition is $46K at NYU. Where do you get $3-4K/semester?

Combining financial aid and scholarships; it is approximately $3-4k/semster

Wow… most people I know wouldn’t trade the honors program at city college for NYU.

F

Have you applied and been admitted to Tandon with a 42K scholarship (assuming you’d commute)?

Yes but it was a complete scholarship, it was with financial aid

the honors program at city isn’t bad but its the engineering professors

You already got an answer?

Does scholarship really covers this much? I’m debating where to go too. City/NYU. I’m willing to pay 10K a year if scholarship can cover that much that would be awesome!
