NYU Tisch Film Program Admissions Advice

Hi all, I'm a high school sophmore planning on applying to the NYU Summer Film Program. Unfortunately, due to the cost of the program I will only be able to attend if I receive significant financial aid, if I am accepted at all.

I have a respectable resume, which includes stellar grades (mostly A's) in all honors classes, strong writing skills, and the following programs:

2 week summer film program at BU

2 week summer photography program at BU

honors filmmaking elective at my high school

employed as a "teen film curator" at Urbano, an arts organization for urban teens (I'm actually a suburban white kid, but they took me anyway)

Fast Forward video class at the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, a selective year long filmmaking class

I've been doing as much film related stuff as possible. In addition to my filmmaking elective (3 or 4 times per week) both the Urbano and ICA programs meet once per week, so I often feel like my schedule is dominated by film.

I was wondering if I should expect to be accepted to the NYU program, and if so would a substantial scholarship be possible? The program gives preference to high school juniors, but I figured I would apply anyway this year.
