NYU Tisch Summer High School Accept and Waitlist

And you still hvent heard anything either?? I really wish we could get some info. Have you called or emailed??

We emailed last week and got a prompt response that we would be considered for the other programs as well

Who did you email?? Sorry I’m so full of questions I just need to finalize my plans ASAP and you applied for new studio acting??

Hey occ! I actually haven’t heard about anyone else getting into new studio acting. I thought you had a good chance since I haven’t seen or met anyone going to the acting program. I have the facebook group and all the kids I’ve talked to are going MT, film, dramatic writing, ETW and Stonestreet. Have you heard anything yet??

I know I hvent heard of many people either! Its the weirdest thing because I emailed them about a week ago and they said that I would be hearing back soon. I have yet to hear from them, but I’m really hoping for the best! I can’t wait to hear ahh the anticipation is killing me. Its strange that I just haven’t beard anything…

Got into film for the summer, found out in April.
Really excited! Good luck to you all

i’m in drama in dublin! is anyone out there going? or know anything about it?

Rising junior and i got into ETW! Can’t wait to see everyone there!

hey, did anyone just recently hear about their acceptance??

I’m thinking of doing the Filmmakers Workshop for the summer of 2011 but all the information on the website is so vague and unhelpful. Would you be able to describe more accurately for me what the experience is like? What is the class schedule like (what classes do you take/when do they start and end). What do the students typically do on weekends? I hear there is a lot of work and little free time, but that is very subjective – what is the most onerous work load that you received? Do you still have time to have fun and explore New York, etc.?

I know the program hasn’t really started yet, but when you have a good idea of the answers to these questions, it would be great if you could help me out! Thanks so much!

NYU Tisch Summer High School 2010 was literally the best experience of my life. It is a lot of work, barely any free time, but you learn SO much and you gain amazing friends and it’s honestly just amazing. If you’re hesitating applying, do it. You will not regret going at all.

You don’t see much of the city, but it didn’t really matter to me. I cannot stress how much this program means to me. Great professors, great school, just wonderful.

You basically are editing, shooting, and taking a narrative filmmaking class from 9 AM to 10 PM. It’s an all day thing, Mon-Fri, plus most of the weekends.

Tisch summer high school was the best. Lots of work but worth it. This was my final project [YouTube - Tapping In. (NYU Portfolio Film)](<a href=“- YouTube”>- YouTube)

Hey guys I’m applying for the film program for the summer of 2011. I’m a current junior, 3.9 GPA, music for 10 years (independent band, choir, jazz choir), high school swim team since ninth grade, founder/president of film club, member of community service board, honor society, made a few films, held a summer job for two years, etc etc. Any ideas on my chances? Thanks a bunch!
