I applied to NYU as a HS senior and as a freshman transfer and got rejected both times. I plan on applying as a transfer this year again for theater. Is having a rejection history bad? do they keep track of these things? I'm from outside the US.

I don’t think they frown upon reapplicants - if anything, they’ll probably admire your dedication.

Your GPA is great, but I’d say your SAT/ACT are a little low. That being said, you could definitely make up for that with a killer audition/supplements, but that might be what’s been hindering you so far.

You should definitely check out Pace University - it’s a PHENOMENAL theatre program also located right in NYC, I have a friend there who loves it. They’re a little bit more lenient with grades and what not, so your chances might be improved.
