NYU Transfer Advice

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>Although this will be a long way from now I've decided to post this anyway. Currently I attend a community college, and will be finishing her by the end of Fall 2009. I would like to transfer to NYU by Fall 2010 due to the fact that for the Steinhardt Music Business program does not accept transfer. So far I expect that I will complete my associates with a gpa above 3.5, I will also have honors credit, become a member of phi theta kappa, I'm an active member of the Publications Club, I started my own record label, a music journalist for a local magazine both print, and online, and I also work a part time job. I'm also an active musician, and performer.</p>

<p>What other EC's, or academic advice do you think I should become involved in order to increase my chance of acceptance? </p>

<p>err, what is your major? so are you applying to cas since steinhardt doesnt take xfers? i thought they did...</p>

<p>I said Steinhardt Music Business. It's a degree program that for some reason they don't take any Spring transfers only Fall.</p>
