I got into NYU, Hopkins, and Reed College. I'm a writer, applied to CAS but if I go to NYU will probably transfer to Gallantin. At Hopkins I would be in the Writing Seminars major, at Reed Creative Writing. I want to learn Hindi, and definitely study abroad. I'm not completely set on writing, so I want other options. I love New York and the Village, but NYU is the most expensive of my choices- they want me to take out extensive loans. A friend of mine from the same high school went, and she says that people don't challenge themselves there. Is this true?

New York may also be too distracting a setting: Reed is in the smaller Portland, and though I don't know what there is to do in Baltimore going to JHU would probably not be as interesting as being in the middle of NYC.

NYU students, anyone: sell the school to me.
