So I thought I would ask anyone out there what they think my chances are with these two schools given my coursework and experience through my first two years of college. Also, if anyone has any pointers on the direction I should take in order to be successful and maybe be accepted by either of these institutions, that would be GREATLY appreciated!

Let me also say that I'm going into public relations, and hoping to do PR for a health insurance company or health system. I would probably attend one of these schools after a few years of getting my feet wet in an entry-level position after college. The degree I would go for is a Master's in Health Administration. And now on to my marks, what we have all been waiting for! (Sarcasm, I know none of you care about my grades or whatever, but if you could pretend for the sake of helping me, that would be great)

I'm going into my Junior year at Penn State with a Journalism major and a minor in Business, and so far have a 3.82 GPA. I have been very involved on campus my first two years. I also had a PR/Maketing Internship at the Sovereign Center this past Spring. Next Fall of my Junior year, I will be interning for the Penn State Alumni Association. I also plan on being involved with Happy Valley Communications, and the Promotions Department of the Daily Collegian. I will also continue with getting PR internships.

Here's my little dilemma. I'm not a stellar standardized test taker. Do NYU Wagner and Columbia Mailman take them very seriously?

So if I maintain the GPA that I have right now for the next two years and continue to get work experience in public relations, am I on the right track? Also, if anyone requires further information to assess my chances, please feel free to do so.

Also, if you have attended either of these schools or know anything about them, could you tell me a little about it? I know one person that goes to Columbia and loves it, and one that goes to NYU and loves it.
