I'm going into my junior year in high school. I am an honors student who is taking all honors classes and one AP class this year. I would love to go to NYU for music technology after going to a community college for one year to get the core credits.

Freshman year:
A in all classes except for an 89 in Physical Science.
Involved in Marching Band (cymbal line), Jazz Band lead guitarist, Chorus, Literary Trio, Beta Club, and church praise band.

Sophomore year:
All A+.
Involved in Marching Band (cymbal line), One Act, All-State Chorus, Literary Trio, Beta Club, and church praise band. I was very involved in theater and was the sound and lights specialist for musicals. My class rank during first semester was in the top 25 % of my class.

My Junior year:
Marching band VP, playing snare in Marching Band, Beta club.
I'm also planning on doing One Act, All-State chorus, Literary (either trio or extemp, possibly both), student council, running for class officer (either president or vp), Jazz Band drummer or guitarist, taking AP US History and maybe another AP during second semester.

I did two years of All-State chorus during middle school as well.
My GPA as of right now is 98.7.

Also, I will take multiple AP classes in my senior year and run for drum major, section leader, or president in band. Probably One Act, All-State, Literary, volunteer more, and all of that again too.

I would love to go to NYU my first year out of high school, but my mother wants me to get my core credits at the community college here. Is there any way I can transfer to NYU after one year here or would I apply as a freshmen?
Also, what are my chances of getting accepted at this rate, and if accepted, any financial aid?..

Any information will help.
Thanks!
