Baltimore, however, is where its at. I know a bunch of people that are regularly on "the wire" in the background, that is much better than any of the crap mentioned before.

Everyone would know Baltimore is the best, cept for all the murder and heroin and aids and stuff.

Actually Boston drivers tend to be pretty good as far as actual driving skills go, they're just impatient and rude and they drive under a vastly different set of rules.

i love laguna beach and, sadly, all crappy mtv reality shows. :-D
i wish i could say something brilliantly profound here but i have no good reason. theyre just fun to watch.

You think Boston drivers suck? I can't tell you how many times someone has cut me off to cross 7 lanes of traffic to get off the freeway. Or, how everyone thinks that since 285 is a beltline freeway it is automatically a huge NASCAR track so we go 90+ (though, I love this... I go about 110 :) ). People don't use blinkers because they are a sign of weakness. I think Atlanta drivers are the only ones that can put on make up, talk on the cell phone, edit some reports, and handle their kids while going 90 in bumper to bumper.

I'm just going on experience. IDK how Time can "rank" a qualitative measure. Though, whatever happened to Jersey drivers? Have we forgotten them?

I hate hate hate people who can't drive rotaries correctly. And, by correctly, I mean the way we Massachusetts-ers do.

One of my worst driving memories, though, is in Costa Rica on this stupid dirt road that went on for miles and miles. They had these bridges, I think, sometimes. And these speedbumps that would hit the bottom of our rental car each time we went over one (which was all the time). It took us so long to get to wherever we were going. It was really quite painful.

No. I mean rotaries. Harvard and I are in MA. We have rotaries. England has roundabouts. Scotland has roundabouts. MA has rotaries.

This is what you do:
1. pray you do it right
2. pray everyone else does it right
3. people entering yield
4. people in the rotary just keep on going
5. do not stop in the rotary
6. do not cut someone off entering unless you are experienced with rotaries
7. there are no real lanes, but normally two general lanes: inside and outside. use the inside lane if you have farther to go around then enter the outside lane before your spoke
8. use your turn signal. it's nice.
9. pray

And there you go. A quick lesson on MA rotaries and how not to get killed.

We are the only city it seems... we just built a bunch of roads similar to older country ones(straight and plopped down anywhere) except alot wider.

wait boston has bad driving?? have you ever been to nyc??? lol my mom is the worlds biggest jay walker. dont ever ever drive in nyc. it takes like 2 hours to get from one end of manhatten to the other (ok i lie, but it still is bad!) btw: you might be wondering how some hick from central wi knows about nyc. actually i dont, but i went there during the winter break. its the coolest city ever.
