Free loading is never positive.

Free riding means being lazy. It does not mean cooperative in any way

But I thought they discussed it in a positive way. The whole point of the essay was to say that being an individual can sometimes be good. Maybe I did misunderstand but that’s what I got from it.

the author defined a free rider to be someone who only focuses on himself. Then he goes on to state how that could be beneficial since achieving your goals might mean helping others out.

For the last time, a free rider is someone who leeches off other people.

I don’t think they were asking for the definition of free riding

@dbsk21 I think it asked total pages, i got 735 pages.

It was 375 actually

What did you guys get for the math question that was like: the volume of a cube is 27 times the volume of another. how much greater is the surface area? I think I said either 18 or 9

Yea i swear the answer was potentially altrustic, exactly what i think @Marrisa

He NEVER said Free riding leads to helping each other out. He addressed the issue of free riders by claiming they never will succeed since they are so obvious to find and snuff out. The passage was about working together, and the entire free riding part was to address a counter point, NOT to say free riding is good. You dont even need to read the passage to know free riding isnt altruistic, it literally is the opposite of it

how would the author of passage 1 respond to the other authors claim that basketball players have indicidual motivations

why are we arguing over that question? it was a tough one… i asked a while ago and no one answer but i’ll try one more time. writing question 28 about the mayan civilization. was the answer A? THEIR

Well that sucked hopefully the scale wont be to harsh that Wheres the Google Doc that everyone been talking about? and can someone please explain how that question with the class trip (80% signed up 10% of those 80% stayed) answer isnt 70%? Thank you

@PoopyMcGee12 I agree with you. I don’t understand how people can think the answer is “altruistic”.

Yea @FuzzyPeaches22, no need to argue about it. Looool. We’ll find out soon enough!

Anyone mind giving me a range?

Reading - 5 wrong
Math - 2 omitted, 2 wrong
Writing - 11 essay, 5 wrong?

Its 72%

why y’all getting mad? No one cares, it’s not like if I have a different answer it’s going to affect you in any way. You OBVIOUSLY think altruistic is wrong so get over it. I honestly don’t but I don’t have the essay right in front of me so I’m not gonna say im 100% sure. Let’s just move on.

@Marrissa I think you sound the maddest right now haha

@FuzzyPeaches22 I guess, that did come off like I was angry but the reality is I just want to move on. There’s no way for us to be 100% sure on each answer and the argument was dumb. IM SORRY I LOVE YOU ALL WE’RE IN THIS TOGETHER!!
