Oct 6 Sat Scores Are Out On Web

I've just checked mine. I know this might get deleted, but just to tell everyone!

GOOD LUCK!

damnit i screwed up like hell

wow i was way too optimistic but at least i raised my score by 200

I raised my score 120 points! I'm so happy.

i did so much worse!!! i thought for sure i would improve my math significantly. what a waste of time and money!!!

my math is horrible

I raised 120 points... but my score is still horrible. I think I won't get into any college.

for the math, i think i was really punished due to my level of "comprehension." I knew i wouldn't get an 800, but i thought i'd be somewhere in the 700's. I honestly don't think i missed that many but it was so easy that each one missed was worth a lot of points. thus, i get a 670 (i have no idea, maybe i misbubbled)

I hate it when they penalise people for trying to write a LOGICAL and RATIONAL essay.

100% style, 0% logic and content. Way to go, College Board.

Writing: 670 (Essay: 10)
Reading: 560
Math: 500
Composite: 1730

I'm only a freshman so I'm pretty satisfied with this score, however, I didn't make the cut-off for a summer program I was interested in. :(

Wow! Your scores are fantastic for a freshman! I'm surprised a summer program would require scores higher than those.

yeah i think you did good..if it's your first time :D

Category: first test --> this test

Reading: 690 --> 630
Math: 690 --> 670 (i thought i did so much better than last time)
Writing: 700 --> 710

Overall, im not very happy. The fact that i did 70 points worse (2080 to 2010) and only went up 10 points in my combined score (2090) means this test wasn't really worth it.

Even if colleges say they take the combined score, how much will they care if a person went down from one test to another?

got my scores:
writing: 650
math: 710 (i share bjs_7's view)
reading: 800 (thank God!!! the reading part was pretty hard this time imo)
total: 2160

As of this morning, today is the best day of my life!!!! I raised my score 170 points!!!!
After reading for months about people's amazing scores on this forum, I can finally say I have my own!

Writing
May: 730 --> Oct: 800

Critical Reading
May: 690 --> Oct: 700

Math
May: 650 --> Oct: 750

May: 1340 --> Oct: 1450
May: 2070 --> Oct: 2250

I hope today becomes the second best day of my life on December 15th.

Mine is
R - 670
M - 710
W - 620

and I was expecting math and reading sections to be way much higher, at least above 720. I can't understand. Is there any possibility that college board maybe did something wrong, like maybe missed 50 points.. :P

Oh well, I will just send these in and hope for the best.. Congratulations to everybody who raised their scores..

CR - 800
W - 800
M - 800

Look out Vassar, here I come!

june 1870 --> october 2080 :]
CR 770
M 630
W 680
i didn't study the first time, but i used up your score to study for the second test. i can attribute the increase to the book.

I took the Subject tests.
Math 2: 760
Lit: 760
. . .I think it's pretty crazy. I'm very happy. To to kid who wasn't happy with his 750 on Physics: :P
lol JK

Oh Good Lord, aren't there any NORMAL kids on these boards? Most of the nation can't come close to 700's or an 800? PUL-LEASE!
Look Zappa (Or should I say G-d) some of us just want to get into a decent school.
So for all of the normal average kids out there - here are my scores. I only improved in math, but I'm really happy because math is my weakest subject.
Reading - 620
Math - 620
Writing - 630
I'm really happy with those scores. They may not be Princeton or Yale type scores, but they don't suck either. To all us normal, average kids out there who did a bit better on the SAT's this time - Congratulations!
