Hi everyone. My DD took the Oct 9th SAT. When she logs on to her Northeastern app (she's applying EA), it says they received her SAT scores on 10/13/10. Is that possible? I hope they didn't send just her previous attempt last year. What do you think? Do the colleges get the scores before the students?

I want to know that too. I got an email from Dartmouth a few days back thanking me for my scores that were sent to them.

I doubt the colleges actually have the scores, they may have just been notified by CB that scores were coming their way. If they had them before we did then score choice doesn’t really make much sense.

Or maybe they do receive them early, and if you elect to block them with score choice then they are pulled form their systems.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much, esp because even if the scores ARE low - if they improve during the next exam, that’s what colleges like to see.
