What did people say for the second to last vocabulary question on the first cr section? It was about a director who had stilted scenes or something?

wait why wouldn’t it be nostalgic

Guys I think I blew up on the critical reading section. I got different answers than all of you. Some consolation plz!!! I was really hoping for NMSF but I don’t know now. I think I did ok on the math and writing tho…

The jsteinberg13 makes an important point. Does anyone remember?

@jsteinberg13 impatient…desultory

help does anyone remember the rumination/rancorous question? i put rancorous but that’s the question i was really confused with and i can’t even remember the question haha

also the other one is impatience/desultoriness because raptness (which means deeply moved/delighted) doesn’t fit with apathy

What was the volcano question again?

And I put qualified acceptance not complete agreement.

What was the answer for the writing question about the survey showing that there are more jobs now compared to last year?

More jobs now than there WERE last year (change was to were I think)

@omnipotent: pretty sure it was complete agreement. it was the first question asked on the first page (:

I’m pretty sure the volcano one was A, because it had to be in either the past tense or the conditional past tense.

Wait guys according to Yahoo answers… “the “because” after the semicolon is fine.” Why wouldn’t it work in the writing section?

@todayseinstein: setting aside the fact that yahoo answers tends not to be the best of resources… i believe “because” was not correct because the following words made it a fragment. if it had been a full sentence it would’ve been okay after the semicolon.

What was the answer to the first paragraph analysis question? I put “out of frustration”.

For writing question about cellphones was the Answer D would have seemed instead of would seem?
I think it was like as microprocessors are increasely fast, cellphones can be somthing would seem something about years ago.

Also for the essay for combined sentences 2 and 3 i Put B
After blah blah frusted trffic congestion, I pulled out my bike…

More jobs now than there WERE last year >> I totally got this wrong. Now I know it, but back in the morning I was completely mistaken… By Hercules! (a classical expression)

It was qualified. The change according to the first passage was due to technology while the second explicitly stated it was due to free speech.
The union was A because of a tense error.

The answer was (x+2)(x-3). Just factor the expression.

I got 72pi for one question
