@hanapiano: for that grammer question, I believe I put N/E but then again, I have little memory of the actual test. At this point, it seems like a blur to me.

There was a short passage question about ancient fossils which were compared to a photographic scene or “snapshot”. If anyone can recall, what was the answer for that question.

@nightlock
i believe the answer was to emphasize the importance of the discovery

ahaha thanks Nightlock for replying but i was talking about what the guy’s quote had to do with oprah’s book club? i was between it showed the common problems among book clubs or it underscored the author’s first statement (???). it might have been something else ;_;

and for the grammar question, i thought it was (can perform) (?) because i thought it would be "as micromanagers become increasingly…, cellphones are now performing…?

AGGhhh what do u think CA’s qualifying score will be? last last year was 220, and last year was 223 so will this year be 226?

it was something about the “significance of a discovery”, not the technological advancement one

@nightlock i think i put something like "represents the importance of the discovery " and the scientists excitement

yeah thats what i put

@needagoodscore

“concealment of the motives behind a policy”?

Also, was the answer to one of the media/news questions optimism or prudence?

for Jacktc " the crayon coloring kit, I got 3 because I thought it was asking for how many children got both a crayon coloring kit and … so it would be 9/3 = 3."
she didnt buy coloring boxes for just three gives
she bought them for three kids to split
so i believe it was still 9

@tbradsworth

i think it was prudence

no definitely optimism because he was excited to learn more and said that ignorance wasnt a bad thing

perhaps i got it mixed up…

what was the answer to 23 on section 1? Was it B?

@theocdone: Yeah, that’s what everyone told me they put but I switched it upon impulse to describing a photographic process because I might’ve taken it too literally -.-.
@hanapiano: The Oprah question (I remember now) was to engage more readers in reading because that was the achievement of her club that the passage primarily focused upon. I don’t believe the score for ANY state would jump to that height (226). I believe for CA, a 223 again would seem much more reasonable. I live in AZ so I have a much easier time compared to you :p.

Does anyone know the answer to the one with a^-2 power or something is = 2b^-3?
I thought it was D or C, which was 1/2b

wait does everyone agree it was 9 not 3 for the coloring one

@tbradsworth
i got optimism because i think the question was referring to the first passage not the second. and the first passage talked a lot about all the good things that will happen because of this new media (i.e. more involvement, etc.)

For the Math Fill-ins I think it went something like this:

9 kids 52.5 mph x=2.5 75 red marbles 1320 (or anything else) for Rectangular Prism

48 for perimeter of the figure and 110 degrees for the amount of degrees that the x in the triangle was. Also some constant k is 1/4 but im not sure if that was in the fill-ins :)

@harvardfanatic10
the answer was 2/b

@needagoodscore
yes it was 9 kids

@theocdone

yay!
