im just stalking the page, seeing what i missed

@everybody

what were the questions for “unsound assumptions” and “potential impacts?” i know they’re from the journalism passage but I’m not sure exactly what the questions were. was the “potential impacts” from the question with the choice “Passage 1 describes something positively while passage 2 discusses the negative effects” or was it from something else…

Ok guys. Back to the presumed it was question. UGHH
This is what my writing teacher said: “It’s hard to say with just that, but yes, “presumed to be” is more likely to be correct.”

@swerve22: I remember that curve. My friend was complaining about missing two and getting a 70 lol. @JackTC: That would be alright for me :p. I’d still only end up with a 68-69 though :(. @Orange: I was (I’m 100% sure) impatience paired with desultoriness.

@hanapiano I’m pretty sure the unsound assumptions was about how the author of passage two thought what the everyday journalist’s ideas on journalism were based upon.

@chrism: For the sentence completion, if the film director treated unrelated scenes with apathy (lack of interest), than he certainly wouldn’t have made it rapt (fascinating) :p.

@hanapiano: I can’t remember the questions, but no. They were for different questions relating to the same passages. Both of them were the correct answers though.

@JackTC: It was a development, I’m pretty sure. @hanapiano: Something along the lines of what the main idea of the author of passage two was for the journalism passage.

@JackTC fairly certain “thing” referred to development.

@hanapiano if it helps, it was #24, the last question in the first section. the question with the “negative impact” answer choice referred to how the two passages RELATED. the one with “potential impacts of a phenomenon” referred to the primary concern of the two passages. hope that helps!
