hey guys

im just stalking the page, seeing what i missed

@everybody

what were the questions for “unsound assumptions” and “potential impacts?” i know they’re from the journalism passage but I’m not sure exactly what the questions were. was the “potential impacts” from the question with the choice “Passage 1 describes something positively while passage 2 discusses the negative effects” or was it from something else…

Ok guys. Back to the presumed it was question. UGHH
This is what my writing teacher said: “It’s hard to say with just that, but yes, “presumed to be” is more likely to be correct.”

@chrism0713 awesome! thats what i put too :)

@NIGHTLOCK I’ve been praying for a nice writing curve since 11am yesterday haha it just scares me how last year’s sat. test curved 80 75 70…

@OrangeIguana I put apathy/raptness. All my friends put that as well.

@OrangeIguana do you happen to remember the answer choices for the fill in the blank question of the artist and drawing more freely?

Apathy/raptness is apparently wrong. :confused: (I put it too)

@hanapiano

I think the one with negative effects is right, but not sure.

@swerve22: I remember that curve. My friend was complaining about missing two and getting a 70 lol.
@JackTC: That would be alright for me :p. I’d still only end up with a 68-69 though :(.
@Orange: I was (I’m 100% sure) impatience paired with desultoriness.

@hanapiano I’m pretty sure the unsound assumptions was about how the author of passage two thought what the everyday journalist’s ideas on journalism were based upon.

@nickspeaker how is it wrong?

@chrism: For the sentence completion, if the film director treated unrelated scenes with apathy (lack of interest), than he certainly wouldn’t have made it rapt (fascinating) :p.

@chrism0713 thanks for responding, i think i got that one :D

@nickspeaker

wait were “potential impacts” and “negative effects” two different choices for the same question?

@What state does everyone live in? :p. I already know what state everyone wants to go to :p.

@hanapiano: I can’t remember the questions, but no. They were for different questions relating to the same passages. Both of them were the correct answers though.

what did everyone get for the question about what the “thing” (the realization of ignorance) was?

@nightlock ok thanks

for anyone else, can someone tell me the question with the choice “potential impacts”? i really want to know ;_;

@JackTC: It was a development, I’m pretty sure.
@hanapiano: Something along the lines of what the main idea of the author of passage two was for the journalism passage.

@hanapiano

No. They were different questions. The “potential impacts” was for 24, the last question in section 1.

@hanapiano: I’m going to sit here and make those faces all day for my writing section.
;; ;; ;; ;; ;_;

@JackTC fairly certain “thing” referred to development.

@hanapiano if it helps, it was #24, the last question in the first section. the question with the “negative impact” answer choice referred to how the two passages RELATED. the one with “potential impacts of a phenomenon” referred to the primary concern of the two passages. hope that helps!

@nightlock

What definition of “development” did you use?
