For the AIM chat room...
If you use pidgin for AIM, then join the chat room (OCTSAT)
set exchange to 5.

wow I assumed americans were asleep.lol

hey, you're talking about CC'ers here. we are all universally sleep-deprived and chronic insomniacs. :)

^ You assumed we were all asleep?
This is when many Americans start doing homework lol.

Anyway, I'm super nervous about the scores tomorrow and it's going to be really hard to go to sleep tonight.

Oh well, good luck everybody! And remember, a bad SAT score isn't the end of the world, so keep your heads up no matter what.

haha.....Yeah Americans should be known for sleep deprivement...

Ok...so Collegeboard says 8 a.m. eastern....but I'm guessing they do put it earlier??

-Hoping for over 2100...first shot...

-hey how do u join that AIM chat room?

i am so anxious. ):

and it's not even 9 PM here! :)

Yes the "lah" is added to every other sentences :D
Like "what lah?", or "I don't know lah"
I find it quite endearing, haha. But some foreign students add lah wrongly (!) - like try to become more "singaporean" like that, and then it's weird.. It's an art lah. lol

Some older people's english is very hard to decipher, since their primary language is still chinese. The sentences are reduced to something like "You go where?" But most younger people's conversational English is not bad. I guess all standard-English speakers when visiting Singapore for the first time will find it hard to understand what the natives are saying..

Who's staying up? Three cheers for us all nighters!!!

O ya all nighter right here! Its 11:23pm in my time zone atm (central time)

I have to finish a Lit explication for AP Lit too =(

malaysians' english-lah, gua, meh, mah, loh
eg, you don't know ga? you don't go meh??

i'm in singapore and it's now 12.30..
i couldn't sleep well ytd cuz i kept thinking abt my worse case scenario!
totally freaking out now.

I'm freaking out too, but I've got homework to keep me pre-occupied.

I can not sleep even think about anything else ...the worse feeling ever

I'm actually LESS upset this time. Waiting for the Toefl result was a real torture. luckily it was not bad

Any Americans still on CC or is it just me lol?

I'm still on and around =). Doing homework until SATs are released, checking every hour from 2 - 6.

Sweeet. Sometimes I wonder how much free time I'd have if I wasn't on CC so much.

It's just 10 on the West Coast.

It's just 7 in Hawaii. =]
