yeah definitely was. random stuff about clams lol

yah…i guessed all the clam stuff
and that random experiment by miller and this other person…( i didn’t know their names AND what the experiment was about…so i couldn’t answer some questions…)
!!! :(

Molecular section was rather decent. I jst hope I didn’t commit any stupid errors, since I can’t afford it (the Bio curve is so harsh). I had some 4-6 iffy questions, hope to get at least half of them right.

When can we start discussing questions?LOL, my parents put parental controls on my computer, so when I typed in “sex- linked diseases” into google, it blocked it. XD

^ Nice dude…

■■■. I missed the Huntington’s question. I was kind of iffy about the last experiment on the M section.

what was the answer to the Huntington’s?

what is the answer to that question ??^

it’s 50% right? idk i just wiki-ed it.

oh…i think i wrote 25%…ah damn
what’s the answer to that cow and bull question?

the rancher was cheated?

same here!! but i m not sure if that’s right though…

i think it is… at least I hope so or I fail at genetics.

yeah the rancher was cheated.

for Huntington’s, i said 75% cuz it didn’t specify whether the father was homozygous or heterozygous.
so the two cases were Aa x aa and AA x aa, which gave 6/8 cases the son would have hungtington’s, hence 75%

but didn’t the question say that it was dominant…? or never mind.

yeah, it said autosomal dominant

no huntington disease is autosomal recessive, so it had to be homozygous if the father had it.

I stupidly thought because we had like a minute left that it was 100% bc of sex- linked traits and whatnot. idkkkk bang head. I’m not sure. I looked on wikipedia for Huntington’s disease, and it said offspring/anyone with it had a 50% of getting it. though I wouldn’t trust Wikipedia for anything…

nvm, mixed up the questions

“The disease is caused by an autosomal dominant mutation”

edit: oh lol okay
