I got inadequate.

i got wasteful too i think…
and it’s dEFINITELY slovenly b/c i rmbr the sentence said that his shirt was “wrinkled” or smth–that doesn’t imply that he was CASUAL…

iFail the one about the two people was hard. I put something about it showed how she developed her criticism along the lines of them? That’s probably way off though.

Fail - i answered that a while back ;)

I put homer.

Anyone remember a question that quoted the first 7 lines of the critic passage and asked about the attitude of the author towards Kael?
I put a choice that is synonymous to appreciation.

Inadequate is the answer. The author of passage one would think that the alternative is OK, but that it’s just not enough. Thus, inadequate and not wasteful.

I put admiration for that, user 2134

question about the two people was that she wasn’t the only critic that preferred less ornate writing. can anyone confirm this?

Alright I put homer because the whole point of the passage was that there was no real evidence behind the Trojan War. If indeed the answer is what you claim, then the passage as a whole wouldn’t make any sense because the main conclusion was that there is no evidence even though we believe.

user2134, I also put the word that was a positive view of Kael

homer is not evidence in any way, shape, or form

the passage mentioned thucydides looking through ruins or walls

it is archaeological… -_ -

I put admiration.
…Except the question was asking about Thuycdides conclusions, not the main conclusion.

@harabee- thats what i said (a while back). and most people agreed ;)

yes it was the ornate one

I got wasteful as well for rewilding.
For the homer one, I put the lack of proof against it since the passage stated directly “there is no rebuttal to thucydides”

Harambee, I put that. Best answer out of all of them, but not a good one regardless.

@alihaq that means your answer for one of the questions is “probably not, no evidence …”, right?

Did anyone get lively and compelling as an answer, for the movie critic passage
