@Boston: For the Homeric discussion:

This is an excerpt from Michael Wood’s ‘In Search of Troy.’
[In search of the Trojan War - Google Books](<a href=“In Search of the Trojan War - Michael Wood - Google Books”>In Search of the Trojan War - Michael Wood - Google Books)

On page 27:

“Out of Homer, Thucydides (c.400 BCE) constructed a brilliant resume of prehistoric Greece …”

what was the sentence completion question that had answer something like ebullience?? what were the other answer choices?
also, what about the sentence completion question that had something to do with basset hound? what were the other answer choices?

thanks

I hope It’s Homer :. And Boston i 100% agree with you on the inadequate one

^Harambee, i also got that she wasn’t the only critic who liked less ornate writing

Does anybody remember the questions or other other answers for ebullient or illicit

yeah it mentioned archaeological but homer was mentioned in that very sentence, then a little ways down it said that homer inspired that little blurb that theycleses (idk how to spell that) wrote, therefore it made it seem that homer had more influence. that section had 23 questions anyways, so it was definitely experiemental

what prolific and trenchant? I put the runner-up then (can’t remember what).

Edit: diffidence and aversion. man i suck.

illicit was one of em.

which one was impiousness…

i cant remember the question with impiousness

@coup- FINALLY XD. That’s what I’ve been trying to say. I just couldn’t remember the quote.

“diffidence…aversion to OR retiring…penchant”

Edit your post. It’s the second one. ‘Aversion’ means dislike, confirmed wrong.

oh heres another one…what did you get for the meaning of “genius”?; i put exceptional talent
and again can anyone tell me what the question was for the phlegmatic one lol

@tvremote i remembering flip flopping choices… do you remember what the other choices were?

@archaeology: anyone remember the exact question? i think the way it was worded will determine the right answer.

Same dont recall impiousness.

^It was probably on the experimental section for CR. I’ve edited the list

Impiousness was probably in an experimental question because I don’t remember it (unless it’s an obscure answer choice on something)

anyone remember putting “inimical” for one of the sentence comps?

last question for troy: it was (E) that if there’s no evidence against it, it’s acceptable, right?

damn 3x already. i’m gonna go into a corner and cry

retiring…penchant. aversion ruins the other one

User: you are correct in your assumption.
