October 2010 - Physics

^ Going by GreedIsGood’s post, you would probably have somewhere around a 750-760.

3 omit and 10 wrong might be 800 too if the curve is very big

I’m getting discouraged by the fact that most people didn’t do so badly…this is going to be done on a bell curve so if there is a very high score, it is bad for those who did horribly…anyone with 7 omit and around 20 wrong?

anyone who has better than raw score of 60?

if anyone has all list,please list it,then we could say our score.so we could think about curve?

Wait…3 omits and 10 wrong…that is equivalent to a raw score of 75-3-10/4, which is 69.5

i was expecting that to be way into the 800 boundary?

I heard that 60 raw is 800

no 3 omit and 10 wrong would be 75-3-10=62 62-(10/4) = 60

haha I’m probably looking at a raw score of about 55… :

god, I left so many blank that I could have guessed correctly, and then the ones I did guess on, I mostly got wrong… ughhh…

lol, anyone else signing up for the December test like me?

Hmm… I might, but because of chemistry! (will be my 3rd try)

if anyone got all of the questions , please list it??

I’m taking the test in November and SAT Reasoning in December. Hopefully I’ll have better luck.

^ Are you a senior?

Well, can a 60 on this one be an 800, considering that 59 was an 800 in CB’s practice test (Well, many say this one was harder than CB’s practice test, but I would say both were pretty similar)…
So, can we predict the least raw score for an 800? I think it should be 58…

@nishadopotdar
how was this test similar to CB?? This was definitely harder -.- I’m pretty sure the least score for an 800 is around 56-57 since the scores will be put on to a bell curve (the harder the test the more generous the curve is)

@timmycho408- Well then, that’s good for all of us! :D

@Charizzard
Yes, I am a senior. I’m not doing any early actions or decisions though. :

I will be VERY disappointed if I don’t get a 700 or above after studying for about 3 months and doing all the practice tests from Barrons, sparknotes, PR, and CB. Anyone same situation??

^I already canceled.

Why did you cancel? How many did you omit and know you got wrong??
