There is no way that CR will be that forgiving. Not even in a million years otherwise I got myself a 700 and I know that’s not possible. Not for me, never. The curve will be just as bad as the last 3-4 tests.

http://www.erikthered.com/tutor/SAT-Released-Test-Curves.pdf
^I based my CR prediction as if it was a medium-to-hard test. The curve I predicted is more average than forgiving.

I sincerely hope theRAD’s predictions come true.

^ Heh, we always hope the curve will be lenient, or even average because the test was “harder than usual”, but, it never is.

^ Maybe it will help that its Oct sat, and that there has been much more controversy over questions than ever before.

i know you don’t lose points for getting grid ins wrong, but what if you pretty much only knew like 2 of the grid ins for both sections lol…and if i got all the multiple choice right, is that pretty much liek a 600 something then?

lets get together a consolidated curve list

The test seriously seemed like Collegeboard made up the questions and problems at the last minute for CR.

what makes you think that?

^^Every question is tested for appropriateness on a non-graded section on a previous exam before use in a graded section. In other words, no questions are “last minute”.

I think what truffliepuff is trying to say is that there war many questions that could be left up to interpretation on this particular SAT (especially on the CR section).

the curve was not nearly as severe as you thought it would be, i won’t give out my sat scores but a 700 for each section was roughly
Math: -5.5
CR: -6.5
Writing: -6

Idk… the curve for the math seemed pretty severe…
one wrong one blank = 750…
like whaaaa? is this normal? sighhhhh

arg the curve for Writing is never -6 = 700. Last time I got -1 and a 710
the curve for CR is so harsh this time though. Normally a -8 would be 700 or 710. This time it is 660 @_@

^^The math curve was very similar to last October’s (2009) math curve.

what would someone get with a -7 on cr.

Nice gravedig UNI, -_-

well…im only a sophmore so ill guess ill retake it in january…all of the questions i missed were damm vocab >.<

If i missed 4 fill in and 2 regular, what do u think ill get.
