oh gawd… there goes my 700 hahha… low 600’s now -_-

Yeah but i cant remember if letter D was I and II only for that one or II and III…I put letter D because I was rushing…I just cant remember if D had the correct answer…I hate that about tests…

this essay prompt was fairly easy.
Fahrenheit 451 ftw!

Blah my examples were so bad. That was probably the worst part of my test and it is annoying since I think I did well in the actual writing section. Does anyone know how many points are deducted with an 8/7 essay?

Depending on the curve, you could potentially still get an 800 with an 8 on the essay if you get all MC right. With a 7 and all MC, I think its around 770.

there was a question that showed a graph of f(x) and you had to find g(0) based on a formula they gave you for g(x), i think something with f(x+1) and f(x-1). does anyone remember the exact question and the answer?

does anyone know the graphing question that asked you to find f(6) when there is a tangent to the vertex at 0,2

The answer was 8 becasue a=.5 and b=2, so .5(4)^2=8

Hey did anyone get that question about the passage with the talent…was it invalidate a body of research? that did not sound right but it was the only one that made sense

@cedricgold91

what were some of the other choices?

it was asking for the primary purpose of the passage…i didnt know whether it was A. Invalidate a body of Research or B. Prove that an experiment is hard. I think it was A because B is a too general…and the whole passage gave research data and then refuted it at the end…thats at least what i think…

Wow this test is the EXACT same test as the June 2010 test I took, I wish I had taken the Sunday test lol.

It wasn’t to invalidate… I think it was one of the later answers do u rem other choices?

yeah…i knew it sounded wrong…idk…

I’m new to here, but i needed to talk about the SAT and nobody really discusses the Sunday tests!
anyway, I’m not nearly as ambitious or smart and some people on here, but this was my second SAT. I hope the college i decide to go to takes a combined score because tat vocabulary section messed up my CR score!! I doubt I got over a 710. and i’m best at CR.

I hated the extra math section, but it wasn’t really hard, so I can’t complain.

The grammar questions were pretty good.
I loved the essay topic, I hope I get above a 10 this time! My examples were really across the board, like I discussed something personal, something historical and something modern. does that sound weird??
Anyway I can’t wait for the 28th!! good or bad, I want my scores!

does anyone remember any hard vocab questions? or any CR?

I don’t remember exactly, but I think I did B (if those were the choices) because the whole point was that scientist made the experiment and got certain results, but at the same time can’t answer some questions( like why some people are automatically quicker at mastering a skill), so the experiment doesn’t have a clear-cut answer.

cherrygirl016, here are some of the vocab answers that I remember, in no particular order. I can’t guarantee all of them are right though.

ignominy, rampant, vanguard, acolyte, apoplectic, underdog

Wow! Well I’m assuming the curve will be the same. That would mean -1 in math in 760 but reading would have a generous curve!

Anyway, just search ‘June SAT 2010’ into google and click on the collegeconfidential links.

Instead of bumping an ancient thread, I read someone chose ‘she felt isolated’ in the reading passage of the girl and her relatives in Australia. The answer was never confirmed and I wanted to hear your opinions. I did not chose that, but now I am doubting myself
