42/48 I believe

ameliorate was the correct answer for the Malcom X/ MLK on social injustice fill-in.

What do you guys think a -5 CR is?

They both considered the controversy of nuclear power, that was an answer.

Another question had the answer of “they both weighed negative impacts”.

Taunt was also a correct answer.

What’s the point of trying to think of the other choices. It’s obviously taunt.

I hate the Fleece passage. I initially chose “pride” as the thing that was reflected by Fleece’s pointing to his head, but it just seemed that he was insecure throughout – so I chose uncertain. I think way too hard…

@clandarkfire
thanks!

what was the one with the nuclear energy what passage 2 author would say to passage 1 on researching alternative energy?

Wait what do you guys mean by “explain a phenomenon” for the blogging passage. I don’t really remember that question. What were the other choices. Also does anyone remember what the first question for the baker passage was?

I don’t understand how Walden was human centered fundamentally. The passage was talking about how the modern works have evolved into dull, dry, boring works because (and I remember this exact wording) the “problem” was that the writings were too humanly centered and scientific. The youthfulness of Walden is long forgotten; it was youthful and fresh because it had an appropriate amount of science in it, but not too much to drown people in boredom. That’s just the way I see it, but I may be totally wrong.

parody was also an answer choice for the taunt thing

@seahawks

I chose the one that said, to paraphrase, that Author 1 was neglecting the financial implications.

I’m still not sure why most people say otherwise.

so parody, pun and taunt. What were the others. Help needed

rebuttal as well

@seahawk “ameliorate was the correct answer for the Malcom X/ MLK on social injustice fill-in.”

what were the other choices.

I agree, I put something relating to the high cost because the other passage said they poured billions into alternative energy research

Crazy Pluto- exonarate, elaborate…but ameliorate was obviously right

what was the taunt one???

Why was Fleece prideful about his forehead? I completely did not understand that question.

At seahawks, that was the trap answer. The answer was it has been tried because they already poured a ton of money in it.

so taunt, rebuttal, parody, pun. what was final answer
