October 2011 SAT Reading

someone tell me what they think the curve will be like

6wrong =720
5 wrong = 740

Praying*

obey and tell me what the curve will be (they think)!

lol @ pch340: my thought process EXACTLY
the suspense for waiting for the QAS will kill me

err… 5-6 wrong is like a 740…

-10 raw will be 700

Does anyone else think this SAT had so many subjective questions?

classicgirll there hasn’t been a curve that generous in over 2 years.

I would say 5-6 wrong is around a 710

What were the other answers to the stock generalization one?

jan 2011 -10 raw was a 690 so i wouldn’t be surprised if if -10 was 700 this time, maybe even 710

To all who think that it is archaeologist: It is spy.
"As biographers, we ask questions about lives that the subjects themselves may never have asked outright and certainly did not consciously answer. Answers are always elusive. "

They are finding out information about a person, not a thing.

sorry, but examine the lines the question is actually referring to
it is CLEARLY ARCHAEOLOGIST. move on, buddy.

@yesyes you’re not quoting the correct lines. I was stuck between spy and archaeologist during the test, and i KNOW there was something specifically along the lines of “going back and digging up their past” that convinced me to pick archaeologist.

“We search for them by carefully reading and interpreting the fragmented messages left behind”

Here is the actual lines that question ask about

^^ See? We’re digging up messages, not people.

OK anyways what do you think 10 wrong will give me?

spys don’t dig up stuff, archeologists.

Also archeologists don’t dig up just people.

yeah its archaelogist for sure. Its not gambler or spy or whatever else there was. Can someone please post the other choices for the stock characterization vocab question? I cant remember what I put and if someone puts some other choices I might remember

10 wrong will be around a 690

what do you think 9 wrong will be
