October 2011 SAT Reading

^I really hope so. I still have a chance for an 800.

You guys will see when you get the QAS in several weeks. Or when I get my 800 ;)

What about the fatalistic/emphatic question? What did you put?

Emphatic. No doubt.

Vehement is the response that “just doesn’t fit.” There is nothing vehement about the paragraph. Go read the paragraph, stop after each sentence, and ask yourself what was “forceful” or “passionate” about that sentence.

The paragraph is at least, however, mildly caustic (reasons on the last page which no one has contested). Caustic is the “best” answer, even if it is not a “right” answer.

Whatever helps you sleep at night…

11DAYS :slight_smile:
we will figure out the answers…

Anyone remember the 5 remaining Passage-Based-Reading Questions?

I wish the SAT’s could be graded at the site of the Exam.

what exactly was the forehead/pride question about the roomate??

So for this question:
Although Malcom X/ MLK both attempted to _______ social injustice, they tried to do so in radically different ways.

do you guys know the answer choices? I might have put ameliorate, but I just want to know what the other choices are.

so was it vehement or caustic, anyone?

@verydarling vehement

o_O
