yeah.10char.

^ Thats what I put.. it fit in pretty good.

humidty=can't suck up more water.

Definately died.... Sugar crash from eating a little bit too much... had five minutes on last passage.... SO screwed!@!@

jp514, I got the one with the special kind of paper, b/c the first para only mentions the paper, but does not say Why it was used

what did the humidity one ask? is there something about CO2?

What was the romantic answer in response to? or what were some of the other answers in that?

Saturation question's answer was something about the air could not absorb more water.

collegepanic:yes to shadows= barriers

and I also put the special kind of paper

Something about the spacecrafts just being litter and that it wasn't as poetic as everyone thought

the one about humidity saturation blahblah, i said it can't absorb any more water.

The space craft one, i got " to refute that space crafts were not poetic'' or close to that.

For the question in the science passage, it asked ''which one was not answered''. The uncoated paper was stated in the first para that it was the leading typ of paper and the essay answered why it was. I chose ''economic indicators(close to it)'' was not answered.

i picked uncoated paper, because it didn't answer why people like uncoated paper vs coated paper.
the option you're talking about, rjacob, i can remember being in the bottom of the first column of the passage. it mentions the good things about using a computer like finding words, etc

According to my December test, this is the breakdown for the scores. Note that this is a rough approximation because all curves are different.
-7 is around a 31
-6 is around a 31
-5 is around a 32
-4 is around a 33
-3 is around a 34
-2 is around a 35
-1 is around a 35

Anyone want to compile all of our (correct) answers into sections so people can more easily see what the right ones were?

is -1 in reading ever a 36? i see in december 2007 it was a 35 and april 2008 it was a 34...anyone have any other scales?

The official free ACT practice test says that -2 and -1 are both 36. So, it's possible

ok thanks!

What about the question at the end of the astrophysicist article.

Was the last sentence: "reach for the stars"??? It asked for two things: show his love of space, and also show his dedication to teaching others (or something similar). It already said that he was dedicated to teaching children or soemthing in that sentance, so I put the answer with stars, because that was the only thing with a reference at all to space. ??

Wasn't that in the English section, not the reading section? But I'm pretty sure that was the right answer

PKW, you're correct
