I'm an international student who will sit the ACT(+Writing) exam in late October.

According to ACT, they release test scores for international students in about 8 weeks and even two weeks later in a worst case scenario.

So, if I sit the ACT in October, can I apply through Early Decision/Early Action? ED/EA decisions are usually sent out in mid December; my scores won't be available till late December.

Oh, I’m in the same situation. October will be my first time taking the ACT (I didn’t even consider the SAT), and I want to apply early so bad. Not good.

College websites state that October date is the last to be considered for ED/EA. They wouldn’t be lying, why would they? I hope so.

You just answered the question yourself…

How would you apply early if you don’t have the standardized test required for admissions?
