the answer HAD to be ORACLE. THE ENTIRE passage was about psychics, and what does an oracle do? sees the future! Havent you guys ever seen the matrix? jeez

I’m fairly certain it was “absence of tradition.” You’ll find dissent, but I’m confident in that answer.

i had absence of tradition, but then i read that part in the passage again and changed it to constricting force, or whatever. but a lot of people are saying absence of trandition. i still think i could be right but i dont know.

i put absence of tradition.

The passage was about how the photos represented a narrative of her African American culture. She found it annoying at first, even learned to resent it, but when they were gone, she found she missed the tradition she had become so accustomed to seeing portrayed in photos on the wall. Atleast that’s how I saw it.

i put constricting force
i was gonna put tradition
but i reread it that it said how she was like.. feeling somehow not together or something.

anyway when i read it constricting made more sense.
who knows

andreaaaaa hope ur right! lol

arg i had oracle too…and i had sardonic

how contradictory. now all i need is for someone to tell me BOTH are wrong.

Its charlatan/sardonic. enough. it is over.

so we need a consensus, any really qualified CR takers have confidence in absence of tradition/contstring force?

It’s absence of tradition. Some of you guys are too smart for your own good; you read into the questions way too much.

rosh… r u good at CR?

Yes.. I know it’s absence of tradition. There is no doubt in my mind. I know I got all the questions on that passage right; it was about African Americans (and I am one) so I feel inclined to get all those questions right.

It has to be absence of tradition. Within the lines they had us read, there was nothing supporting constraining force

yeah, thats basically what i thought too. but i think i was overthinking it, though. oh well.

^ yeah.haha
overthinking on CR has.. well been a problem for me ;; yeah oh well.

do you guys remember the historian passages?
what’s the answer to that question about what the two passages disagreed about?

one was skeptical about the information history provided, the other was estatic about it. What they did agree on?

^ um. i think the very last question about that passage asked what … single topic the two passages disagreed about.
not how they disagreed.

they agreed that history affected the future, or something like that.

^ it was what they DISagreed on..

Could I get the other answer choices for the charlatan question? I"m having a difficult time remember what i put down. I definintly put down baffled for the sardonic question, but it’s not like I didn’t recognize the sarcasm, it was just that i thought he could be baffled as well as mocking them. So there’s no single tone that guided my answering of that section. thanks all

^No, they disagreed on the reliability of historians.
