was it asking for a ratio or an actual amount. because you could find the height that the volume of hte cone filled the cyinder up to

yeah, it asked for the height, in inches. i am pretty sure, at least.

harvard, its not a triangle. I guarantee you.

anyone get the problem where you had to find the shaded area's area? the one with three triangle in a rhombus..didnt ge tthat one at all

alright screw this, there goes my 800 in math. This why I hate the SATs, its not actually math based, its word based.

What was the question with the answer of 14.7?

And what's the answer to the two 6,8,x triangle -> find the area of the trapezoid one?

ok.. so 3 worng so far.. and 1 or 2 omit.. would this still be around 700?

hydralisks, answer to trapezoid = 50

harvard, the first SAT I took, I thought I completely annihilated the math, and got a 740 x_x I think I had 3 wrong

dude what's this trapezoid problem you guys are talking about? i have no idea what it is

thanks.. that makes me feel better..
maybe they weill give us half a point for the 6.75.. lol..

I missed 3 in June and got a 740 as well.

no more dispute on swiming and climb one!
If the answer is 40. Draw a van diagram. If 40 people could do both things. 160 for swimmers and 40 for climbers. and 40 for both. However, remember one thing. Since 40 people could not swim, the total number that we are looking for is 200, not 240. Therefore the answer 40 does not work.
What if the answer is 80? then 120 people who could swim and 80 people who could do both and 0 people who could do only climb. logically it works out.
So IMO, I think the answer is 80. if it is not, just let know that I am wrong.

P.S. what would the score be for 1 wrong and 1 omit?

it asked for the minimum (for the climbing/swimming) prob. minimum. so 40. not 80.

did anyone get the problem 90 marbles and 10 points per some and 15 points per some...i got A....i got it wrong i think

Can someone tell me whether the math section with the question about

Point P in Plane M, how many circles with center P and circumferience 9pi exist in M

was an experimental section or not?

yeah you know what, this is making me nervous, whatever I got Ill find out in 3 weeks, good luck in the college process guys. I'm out

ablegreen, the answer to that was 75, I don't remember what letter.

for my grid-in the last problem was a parabola of 2x^2+ 9x+9 and it asked what the area of the rectangle was... i got 27

did anyone else have that one??

dude marbles problem -- i got 14.7

classof08 is right...no use....just wait 3 wks. later guys

dychang, it's 40. Let it go.
