No wait the height was 6 not 9,

so it's 1/3 pi (3)^2 (6) = (pi) (3)^2 (h)

h = 2

No wait the height was 6 not 9,

i have a question for the equation of the area of that triangle with the partial rectangle...
what was the answer?
and how did u solve it?

wuts the one with the 2 lines intersecting.
and then it told u that X Y Z were mid pts.

i put I n III only

indiejimmy, 3 doesn't work because when you plug in a=1 b=1 and c=3, you get
1/3 + 1/6 + 3/18 = 2/3.

anyone get the trapezoid where u had to find the area of the shaded region. all i got for the 2 sides are 10 and 10
for the intersecting lines i got all of them

i put I,II,III

What is 3 wrong looking like for this?...at this point Im very mad at the mistakes I made. I got the systems one wrong, the arc angle one wrong, and the temperature one wrong.

Point P in Plane M, how many circles with center P and circumferience 9pi exist in M
yeah, i got one.
i put I,II,III
me too.

cool..wut about the area of the rectangle and triangle

bball1210,
which ones were the system/arc/temperature problems?

oh, yeah. what was the answer to that one.

Answer to rectangle and triangle was 1/2 (x-3) ^2 + 3y

To do it, you draw an imaginary line to make a horizontal rectangle + a triangle on top of the rectangle. The area of rectangle was 3y. The area of the triangle is

1/2 base * height

The height was x-3, not x because we drew an imaginary line, which cuts off a part of the segment with length x.

Then I think they gave you a 45 degree angle for the top of the triangle, so you had 45-45-90 and so the base was also x-3.

5 + 5 rootsqured 3

hyperpower

The systems one was with the z. The arc was one the 56 degree arc. The temperature one was the chart.

^ ya i was relunctant to assume 30 60 and 45 45 triangles but i didnt have a choice ..

I think i got everything right.. except I put I,III for one of them

and for that graph where it said f(a)=f(2a), why cudnt the answer be when x was 0, because for 2x0 you wud end up getting the same answer

I had Y as one of my answers.

What was the answer to the arc one?

54 i think.. 180-angle given and then divide that by two
