October 6 SAT math

can someone please explain the temperature problem? I honestly don't remember that problem...

why cudnt it be where x=0 for the that graph one

One last question: what was the question for the second to last grid-in [answer: 63]?

i probably said x>0 i think

ya i think so..but wut was that question again?

im confused about how people are getting 256 for the student produced response question about the circle with circumference of 8pi. c= 2pi x r, so r = 8. 8x8 = 64?

Pahreen,

it said a number added to nine less than twice that number resulted in 180. What was the number?

r = 8 so the whole side is 16... 16^2=256

shapeofhome, the circumference was 16pi not 8pi. so diameter = 16, which is also equal to a side of the square.

Area of square = side ^2 = 16^2 = 256

If r =8 the side of the square is 16, because a radius is only half of a side

On the student responses, I remember entering 2,63,256, and 13.5. The others are a blur.

O yeah. I put 105 for one. I rounded up. Anyone remember a 105 or 104?

u had to round? i didnt have to round for any of the problems.

could the abc be 9? I don't remember.

i believe 6, 9, 12 are all valid responses to the abc one

I had .2 for one of the student responses. i can't remember what question it was though.. anyone had the same answer?

yeah .2 or 1/5 was teh correct answer

which free response had an answer of 4. actually, can someone just post the questions in order, and then the answerS?

Ya that was just the first one where x/10 = 10, and they asked what 20/x was.

hey i got 4 on one of the free reponses but i forgot what the question was
