October 6 SAT math

no. a plane is a 2d figure.

it was I II and III. all three were correct. positive.

by ignoring my question, i am assuming (hoping) that u didnt have it, thus adding it onto the experimental list? Eh? that would be sweet

Wat is that 63 in the grid in for??

dam i think i missed more then 5 more like 8....... how much is -4 in MC and -3 in grid in??????????

a number is something less than twice the number, something something result is 180 or something

nine less than twice the number plus the number equals 180.

was 5 sqroot3 + 5 answer choice E??

wait i think i mite have gotten that one write...... i went really fast on math section.... some questions which i didnt spend much time on is like a blur.......
how much is -4 in MC and -3 in grid in???????? in a math section

imitchell: yes, it was 5root3 + 3
jinks: it's -1.25 -1 so -2.25

wat are u talking about debate addict?

the grid in answer of 13.5 was for a problem that showed a graph with points on the y-axis and x-axis...i don't remember how you were supposed to find the points (i think i just graphed it on my calc), but the points ended up being (0,9) and (1.5,0). this formed a rectangle (along with points 0,0 and 1.5,9), and the answer was 9 x 1.5 = 13.5. hope that helps a bit, sorry i dont remember it exactly

sorry to repeat my question, but was 5 sqroot3 + 5 answer choice E? were there any other answer choices that resembled 5 sqroot3 + 5---i can't remember which answer i put but i know it looked like that.

i think that was e. but i dont know for sure.

i love how i literally busted a mission trying to do the last math problem with the 3 equations asking you to find z and i got it wrong i think... it wasn't 4, was it? ._. i have a feeling i rushed it and got it wrong since many people are saying it was 2

it was 2 cookie u just had to add them up and everything cancels and u have 3z = 6
z=2! i know i hate ETS too.......

yeah, it was two.

5root3 + 3 was DEFINITELY E....and jinks, you asked how much 1 MC and 1 grid-in wrong would be...

btw.. if for the cylinder one.. i see a lot of u guys put the height of two.. sorry you guys are wrong.. i originally put two.. but i saw that the question said.. "What is the DEPTH of the cylinder?" since the max height was 6. and the height was 2.. the depth of it is 4. :o

the depth is two inches. two inches of liquid are in the cylinder. the liquid is two inches deep.

hahaha

no it asked for hte depth of the water. it was 2 i promise <3333

YESS IT WAS 2! think about it this way: the volume of the cylinder is greater than that of the cone, but the liquid that fills the cone will remain consistent even if you pour it into the cylinder. therefore, you can set the volumes equal to each other. plugging in for 3 and 6 for radius and height, but leaving the h in cylinder formula as a variable, since thats what ur finding. after plugging in the pis cancel out and ur left with 2. that one took me a while!
