October SAT Curve

I personally think that all the curves make no difference in your score (you get what you deserve to get) but I was wondering if I'm wrong in this idea? A lot of people have been telling me I shouldn't wait till October to take the SAT for the last time because it has a harsher curve due to all of the other seniors that will be retaking for a last shot?

A “lot of people” are incorrect. The curve adjusts for the slight variations in SAT difficulty from one month to the next, and doesn’t reflect who is taking the test or how good or bad they may be. A harder test means a nice curve, and an easier test means a harsh curve. This makes a score of 650, say, mean the same no matter when you take the test.
