I just have a question. Does the October SAT II offers EVERY subject test? Namely U.S. History?

i also have a question! is it true that most of the october SATIIs have the harshest curves?

Oh ****.. It has the harshest curves?

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha... im pretty sure every test date has the same curve...
I took an sat2 last october and the curve was great, imo

Oh Thank you for raising my hopes. What about Novemeber nad December?

well the october test date curve is considered harsh probably because all the seniors who are going to go ED/EA need that test date as a last chance for taking a test/improving upon a test score. for example, me. =P (math IIC and chem)

wait, so does any know for sure whether october SAT II's have harsher curves?? ahh i hope not :(

well likely they do not. see, it is one of the most popular test dates, because of the reason i stated. however, the pool being bigger does not mean there will be bunches of people smarter than you. it should be about average/a normal curve.

the only way i could see it being a harder curve would be due to the fact that the seniors who take it probably already took a full-year course the previous year and so have more foundation/knowledge than people who self-studied over the summer or in general. (i.e. I finished whatever math I needed for the Math IIC this year, and I have now taken both Honors Chem and AP Chem, and I shall be reviewing both over the summer, so likely I shall be more prepared than you if you're just self-studying) but it really should not affect the curve that much. the vast majority of people are not as motivated as CCers and do not do as well.

So October does offer EVERY subject?

check on collegeboard

so ghey..world history twice a year.

does anyone know how many (if any) Columbia likes to see?

check its website.
